KUALA LUMPUR, 6 December 2021 – GuocoLand Malaysia (GLM) has clinched the Top 10 Developers Award at the BCI Asia Awards 2020/2021, recognized as one of the leading property developers in Malaysia. Winners are judged by the extent of their sustainability and confirmed green building ratings.
Started in 2003, the BCI Asia Awards has successfully placed itself among the most sought after awards for the Asian building and design industry. Held in seven Asian territories—Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam—the BCI Asia Awards recognises developer and architecture firms with the highest value portfolios of projects during the last full calendar year.
“Being honoured for the BCI Asia Awards is a great recognition for our emphasis in not only quality design, but also our efforts in the implementation of the project to ensure the delivery of quality workmanship, sustainable development, healthy living and enhancing appreciating value to our customers,” said Tan Wee Bee, GuocoLand Malaysia’s Group Managing Director.
For example, Emerald 9 at Cheras represents GLM’s vision to enrich the lifestyle of the buyers in a mixed-use placemaking development. Emerald 9 showcases the commitment to build high-quality residential apartments, open spaces, and a strategic blend of commercial and retail developments that will create a sustainable ecosystem that enhances appreciative value to our buyers.
GLM’s Emerald Hills at Alam Damai in Cheras is a 47-acres freehold residential development that uses 21 acres for various facilities and amenities to enhance the quality of life of residents. The low-density development comprises four lakefront condominiums and 181 garden terraces, with a calming central lake at its heart.
The master-planned township development of Emerald Rawang, is located on a 1,000-acre land within the fast-expanding Rawang town. The township comprises linked terraces, clusters, semi-detached houses, townhouses and bungalows. With the vision to improve and enhance community living in Emerald Rawang, the development has undergone a re-design and re-planning exercise with new features, including lush landscapes of greenery, well-equipped amenities and a modern central park with lakes and a recreational club will be introduced in the township.
“We are preparing to hand over the homes in Emerald Hills, Emerald 9 and Emerald Rawang; at the same time, we continue to support amenities and create an environment that nurtures community liveability and sustainability,” added Tan.
Damansara City (DC) is the first integrated development of Damansara Heights, the 8.5-acre freehold mixed-use development houses serviced apartment DC Residensi that is seamlessly integrated with the five-star Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara, food-and-lifestyle centric DC Mall, and the Grade A offices in Guoco Tower and Hong Leong Tower.
